Another milestone in the annals of Sir Louis Onwugbenu, is the establishment of the louis carter foundation in 2013.Precisely, on 15^th August 2013,Sir Louis got an inspiration to float a foundation which will wipe tears away from unprivileged faces as he marked his 60^th birthday anniversary.

In the catholic calender,August 15 is the solemnity of the Assumption of the blessed virgin mary,and for the inspiration to come on this very day is symptomatic of divine direction and material guidance of the blessed virgin mary,mother of God.Like a mustard seed,the foundation has grown against the wildest imagination of cynics and friends alike.Under it’s umbrella are over 200 beneficiares who are academically assisted in two categories-secondary education and at the university level.

When a less privileged person’s imagination is unlocked, possibilities are opened up, allowing them to choose a path for their own future. Louis Carter Foundation enables this journey by providing academic scholarship and empowerment to make their dreams  come through.
