On 15th August 2013, as Sir Louis Izuchukwu Onwugbenu marked his 60th birthday, an inspiration was born to establish a foundation dedicated to wiping tears from the faces of the less privileged.
What began as a simple but powerful desire to make a difference has grown into an institution of hope, impact and opportunity, touching the lives of individuals, families and communities.

In the Catholic calendar, 15th August is the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The inspiration for the Foundation to begin on this day was regarded as a moment of divine direction and material guidance.
Like a mustard seed, the Foundation has grown beyond the expectations of many. What began with a vision to support the less privileged has developed into a platform through which educational and humanitarian assistance reaches people in need.
